It all started when Jesse and his wife decided to build their first off-grid campervan. After returning from a year-long road trip, they realized they'd designed a system so reliable they never had to plug into shore power or use a generator.
Jesse started his career as an industrial union electrician. After completing a five-year formal apprenticeship and earning his master electrical license, he became a foreman running large-scale industrial projects — then stepped away from that world to pursue renewable energy full-time.
Equipped with an extensive knowledge of the electrical code, trade materials, and electrical theory, Jesse found that the quality and practices of the RV world were severely inadequate. His mission became simple: serve the growing need for high-quality off-grid electrical systems in an industry where information and standards are lacking.
From humble beginnings to a full-time career, Jesse continues to pioneer the industry for anyone who relies on off-grid mobile electrical systems. Power of Adventure is located outside Ithaca, NY, and serves customers across the United States — and beyond.
